Responsibilities

Salary: $35/hr.-$45/hr

Position Overview:
As a nut former, you'll be part of our team located in Brea, CA on 1stShift

Key Responsibilities:

' Sets, operates and troubleshoots nutforming machines, as required by demand or direction of supervision

' Keep machines in best operatingconditions, including replacing worn fasteners, machine parts or tooling

' Efficiently and effectively maximizethe output of the production equipment and produce quality products that meetall expectations

' Produce quality products utilizingManufacturing drawings, process control documents, training materials, anddepartmental work instructions.

' Demonstrates the safe use of all shopsupport equipment necessary to prepare or modify tooling to produce productsmeeting the customer expectations.

' Trains operators in machine operationand safety practices

' Detects, evaluates and communicatesmachine/equipment conditions, material anomalies, part / tool drawingdiscrepancies or other unusual shop floor activities and/or concerns to bothmaintenance and supervision.

' Gathers materials for production suchas: part drawings, tool drawings, production schedules, productionrequirements, production reports, etc.

' Reports production and set-up in theK-Lite production tracking system

Maintains the entire workplace ina safe, clean operating condition on a daily basis.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

' 1 year of previous nut formingexperience

' Communicates all pertinent and/ornecessary information to fellow employees supervision and support teams.

Knowledge of all internal forms of measuring devices, suchas micrometers, calipers, gages, etc.
