Position Summary:Responsible for the supervision of department staff, for facilitating a smooth work flow in a stressful and fast paced environment, seeing that the office runs efficiently at all times, and that the patients needs are taken care of in a timely manner. The Office Manager must be able to work without supervision, exercising independent judgment drawing upon experience and background to complete assignments. The Office Manager is responsible for all phases of work, from determining priority to completion and also monitors and is responsible for the accuracy and quality of work performed by the department staff.
Essential Job Functions: · Interacts daily with physicians to ensure proper flow of communication. · Prepares work schedules and expedites work flow. Coordinates time off. Manages reports and overtime. · Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to Clinic policies and procedures. · Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner. · Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances. · Manages difficult or emotional patient situations. Responds promptly to patients needs. Ensures good patient relations. · Actively participates in meetings as required. · Maintain physician schedules and call schedule. ·
Qualifications: Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. · Ability to work alone with minimal supervision and as a team player working with physicians, administrator, and patients. Previous experience in medical office management. · Analytical and management ability to manage processes for efficiency and customer service improvements. · Ability to generate reports for analysis and implement actions to resolve problems or improve office workflow.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8- 5 Friday 8-12 Will be working in both Provo and Salem location
