Physical Requirements

Lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 15lbs., sitting for long periods of time, and viewing computer screens for extended periods of time without difficulty.



Shift

As a salaried position, the working shift is primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with the expectation to work outside of this schedule to complete projects, meet deadlines, etc.



Job Summary

The University of Kentucky Police Department is seeking a Director of Operations and Analysis to lead the Central Kentucky Information Sharing and Threat Analysis Center (CITAC). This position will report to the Security Operations Center Executive Director.

This position will direct staff and operations of CITAC; Coordinate, plan and manage communication with the University of Kentucky Police Department and the University campus community. This position will coordinate and maintain ongoing training and experience within; gather and share information; maintain and appropriately distribute global situational awareness and monitoring, and provide ongoing situational reports, threat assessment and analysis reporting.

The Director of Operations and Analysis will maintain close communications supporting local, state, federal and international partners. This position will also oversee the daily operating budget.

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
Global Information Assurance Certification
GIAC Security Essentials Certification
GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst
