The Operator I, Warehouse Operations is responsible for supporting the coordination of site inventory control department activities to ensure accurate preparation and handling of documentation and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides support for shipping and receiving activities

  • Assists with receiving, checking, and verification of in-bound materials including small package, freight, temperature controlled, good manufacturing practices (GMP) and hazardous materials (HAZMAT)
  • Assists with preparation and shipment of out-bound materials including small package, freight, temperature controlled, GMP and HAZMAT

Provides support for handling and storage activities

  • Performs handling of materials within warehouse and facility areas using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Performs transfers to move materials to qualified storage areas
  • Transfers raw materials and components to manufacturing
  • Issues out operating supplies to various internal customers

Provides support for cycle count activities

  • Performs physical inventory counts
  • Investigates discrepancies and performs recounts

Performs general administrative and organizational activities

  • Completes and files required documentation as applicable
  • Conducts periodic safety inspections of warehouse areas and equipment
  • Completes regulatory training requirements on a timely basis

Performs other tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year relevant work experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • An equivalent combination of education, experience and training may substitute
  • Intermediate written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Basic knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), United States Pharmacopeia (USP), and European Pharmacopoeia (EP)
  • Basic knowledge of handling hazardous material
  • Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack

  • Be open when errors are made, work to understand, correct, and educate others to ensure the error doesn’t occur again

  • Brings new perspective to the process, but rely on documents/objective evidence to understand the requirements

Working Conditions:

  • The incumbent will be required to push, pull, reach, balance, and/or lift greater than 50 lbs. for 2 hours, approximately 5 times per week
  • The incumbent will be required to stand for extended periods of time, up to 6 hours per day
  • The incumbent may be working around hazardous materials to include chemical agents at least 2 hours per day
  • The incumbent will be working heavy machinery, such as forklifts, 8 hours per day

Compensation Overview:

Phoenix - AZ - US: $28.13 - $34.09per hour


The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
