Position Summary: This will be a temporary position from May to September of 2026. This is a great opportunity to work in a respected clinic as an Ophthalmic Technician. Successful candidate must maintain a professional image in the office and in all communications. Must be able to multi-task while maintaining good patient and staff relations along with providing outstanding customer service.
Essential Job Functions:
- Preparing patients for exam
- Gathering past medical history information
- Performing refraction
- Performing in-office testing
- Assisting the physician in procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in eye care or related field and/or COA Certification preferred
- Quick Learner
- Happy Disposition
- Must be able to be on your feet much of the day
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday
