Part-Time Faculty-Nuclear Medicine Technology (2025-2026 Academic Year)UIW MissionPosition SummaryThe Ila Faye Miller School of Nursing and Health Professions invites part-time faculty candidates for Lecturer of Nuclear Medicine Technology. This position will teach Radiation Safety. In all matters, faculty are expected to maintain the highest standards of professional ethics consistent with the UIW Mission. Official duties and responsibilities of part-time faculty members at the University include teaching and professional activities as assigned.This applicant pool will remain online and be used to hire interested part-time faculty in designated area as needed during the 2025-2026 academic year.Essential Functions• Prepare course lectures and activities based on competencies and proficiencies outlined in the syllabus and as coordinated with the program director.• Prepare and execute timely and meaningful assessments for assigned courses, evaluating student performance through examinations, papers, or other assessment approaches.• Work collaboratively with departmental faculty to ensure standard curriculum outcomes are met.• Be available outside of class to help students learn as well as answer their questions (1 hour per 3-hour class, physically and/or electronically).• Adhere to UIW Faculty Handbook policies and procedures, including timely record keeping of student activities, fair and equitable evaluation of student performance, and timely feedback to students regarding their performance in the course.• Conduct respectful relationships with faculty, staff, and students both in and outside the classroom.• Maintain contact with the department chair and participate in meetings upon request; meet with clinical preceptors and NMED faculty approximately one time per semester.• Perform all other duties as assigned.Job DutiesKnowledge Skills and Abilities• Knowledge of the physics of medical imaging, instrumentation, and molecular imaging.• Ability to deliver instruction both in-person and/or online as needed.• Ability to effectively learn, use, and incorporate instructional technology into teaching.• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.• Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.Required EducationMaster's Degree in field related Health, Physics, or a related Medical Science field.Required Work ExperienceThree (3) years of related clinical experience.Preferred QualificationsNone specified.Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations• Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist.• ARRT or CNMT Certification.Work HoursBased on course assignment to include day, evening, and/or weekend sections as needed.The Radiation Safety course is anticipated to be 3 hours in the afternoon or evening.Physical DemandsTypical for faculty in this discipline.Posting Number: UN946POJob Type: Part TimeJob Category: FacultyDesired Start Date: 08/01/2025Position End Date (if temporary):Reports To: Dean of SNHPSalary: $1,333 per credit hourOpen Date: 06/23/2025Close Date:Open Until Filled: YesSpecial Instructions to ApplicantTo apply, visit https://apptrkr.com/6320733UIW is committed to a policy of equal opportunity in employment, without regard to race, color, sex, sexual orientation, citizenship status, national origin, age, marital status, disability, genetic information, gender identity or expression, veteran status, pregnancy, and religion (except in limited circumstances when religious preference is both permitted by law and deemed appropriate as a matter of University policy).jeid-2ce953cf07a57d41a17cf11507b27ffe
