The shift for this position is Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.
Job Summary
The Patient Access Representative is responsible for providing pre-visit activities for UKHealthCare patients including appointment coordination and scheduling; resolution of patient complaints; collection and verification of demographic information and insurance/payer source information and correction of registration errors; as well as maintain HIPAA compliant and comply with all UKHC policies regarding patient privacy and confidentiality. This position will also participate in unit and Enterprise activities to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and patient satisfaction. Please apply for any and all positions you feel qualified. Preferred Education/Experience
4 years of healthcare customer service experience preferred and previous experience working with patient scheduling is highly preferred.
