Also involves some exposure to loud noises, cuts/punctures, blood-borne or airborne pathogens, and combative/violent people.ShiftThur, Sat, Sun 6:45a-7:15p (3 X12s)Job SummaryThe Patient Access Services Representative is responsible for providing pre-visit activities for UK HealthCare patients including appointment coordination and scheduling; resolution of patient complaints; collection and verification of demographic information and insurance/payer source information and correction of registration errors; as well as maintain HIPAA compliant and comply with all UKHC polices regarding patient privacy and confidentiality. This position will also participate in unit and Enterprise activities to improve efficiency, quality, safety and patient satisfaction.
