Shift
Positions available are 12.5 hour shifts.
Shift available:
Weekday and Weekend nights 6:45p to 7:15a
Overtime possible, picking up shifts outside of night shift hours possible.
Will be cross-trained for Chandler, Good Samaritan and EmPATH ED Registration areas.
Training will be Monday – Friday 9a-5p (training is between 3-5 weeks). Will be required to attend New Employee Orientation which is held on a Monday from 8a-4:30p.
On-call staff may have the opportunity to advance to a full time position if desired. On-call positions is a great way to get your foot in the door at UKHC ED Registration Department. Possibilities are unlimited.
Job Summary
Position includes the following:
- Arriving and Updating/Registration of Emergency Department patients
-Copay/payment collection at time of service
-Customer Service
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
High level of keyboarding accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to maintain calm during stressful situations and provide excellent customer service. Ability to effectively prioritize work. Must have schedule flexibility.

Preferred Education/Experience
FLEXIBLE/OPEN AVAILABILITY PRFERRED. Prior patient registration experience preferred. Customer service background such as retail, call center, hospitality, etc., also very helpful.
