Job Summary

The Department of Radiology is seeking a Part-time Patient Relations Assistant to facilitating an engaging and positive patient experience.

Duties include collection and input of registration information, insurance and demographic data, perform cash collection (co-pays, deductible, deposit, reconciliation), and provide customer service to patients.



Also, primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, greeting patients, registration, insurance verification, cash handling, medical record preparation, scheduling appointments, procuring new patient records, communicating information with patients via the telephone and in person, and answering the telephone. This position supports efficient patient care and clinic initiatives for improving patient attendance and keeping attendance records.



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Patient registration, office and clerical, and customer service skills.

HS plus 4 years in a busy office setting or care clinic
