Job Summary

The Patient Relations Assistant will be responsible for scheduling of Diagnostic Radiology exams, pre-certifications, and confirming all necessary information needed to properly perform and identify billing information needed to maintain compliance with institutional, state and federal practices. This position will provide a professional point of contact, and serve as a liaison to Radiology and all referring offices.

Organization, coordination, fast pace environment, assertiveness, clinical knowledge, computer skills, office and clerical, strong customer service skills, and registration knowledge.

Preferred Education/Experience

Four or more years of related experience doing registration in a medical office preferred.
