Job Summary

The Polk Dalton Clinic is seeking a Patient Relations Assistant.

The Patient Relations Assistant will answer Spanish phone line with timely scheduling or questions answered, register and check-out patients, assist in OB/GYN surgery scheduling with the goal of taking over the task, and respond to medical record requests to transfer medical records. Will post cases directly to PICIS and schedule clinic pre-operative anesthesia appointments.

Provide Clinical provider support. Assist with insurance prior authorizations. Have demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast paced medical office. Need excellent customer service skills.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Ability to read, write and speak Spanish; medical terminology, excellent customer service skills.

Preferred Education/Experience

High School and 4 or more year related experience preferred. Electronic medical records experience and scheduling experience preferred.
