Overview
As a Payments Processor Specialist I, you will be tasked with a variety of daily duties across the Payments department. This team accomplishes high level data processing, validations and maintenance for high volume tasks, both within our Core and through vendor systems. Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to follow written procedures are keys to success in this position, where quality is critical. Must work effectively within a team environment and with limited supervision. Tasks and assignments change over time with system updates, new efficiencies, and business needs, so flexibility is crucial to be successful in this role.
Primary Responsibilities
- Debit and Credit Card Maintenance- Limits, Travel notices, Payment Reversals, Credit Balance Refunds, Fee Reversals, Card Delivery, Balance Transfers, and Auto Pay
- Instant Issue Cards- Inventory management and monthly ordering for branches
- Deposit correction and manual transaction posting.
- ACH Credit Card payment reversals
- ATM check bags retention and Research for dispute resolution
- Cash Advance Receipt retention
- Department mail- Receive, distribute, and process.
- Manage daily letter output for credit card member communications
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of successful experience working in a financial institution preferred
Physical Requirements
- Constant 10-key typing
- Frequent sitting and / or standing
- Occasional lifting / pushing / pulling of objects up to 50lbs.
