About the Role:
The Payroll Administrator is responsible for executing in-house payroll processing with precision, timeliness, and compliance. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can apply critical thinking to ensure payroll accuracy while supporting the Payroll Supervisor in daily operations. You will serve as a key point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and contribute to maintaining a seamless payroll experience for Crewmembers.
This role is based in Dallas, TX and requires on‑site work 4 days per week. Candidates must be local to the DFW area to be considered, as relocation assistance is not available.
A Day in the Life:
Your day will be detail-driven and deadline-focused, centered around ensuring accurate payroll processing and resolving issues that impact Crewmember pay. Additional responsibilities include:
  • Process in-house, multi-state payroll for approximately 1,200 employees across semi-monthly, biweekly, and weekly pay cycles
  • Ensure all final payments are processed accurately and in compliance with applicable state laws
  • Prepare and deliver payroll reports with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness
  • Serve as a point of contact for payroll-related questions and resolve discrepancies efficiently
  • Calculate and process special payments including incentives and retroactive adjustments
  • Prepare reporting and documentation related to Crewmember pay history as requested

  • Required Education & Experience:
  • Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working in aviation or similar industries
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with payroll systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with systems such as Workday, UKG, or UKG Workforce Management

  • Pay & Perks:
    Compensation is $55,000 - $65,000 annually. This was established after performing market research and is aligned with our approach to compensation.
