Overview
This is a hybrid role that is open to candidates working from Oregon or Washington. Team members typically work 2-3 days per week onsite at a Legacy Health location, with the remainder of the workweek completed from a virtual location (in Oregon or Washington).
All new hires are required to travel to a Legacy Health office in Portland, Oregon prior to their start date to complete a new hire health assessment and new hire paperwork. Initial training and orientation may be conducted on-site before transitioning to the hybrid schedule.

This position utilizes advanced knowledge of payroll processing systems and regulatory laws to review, audit, and make necessary changes to the payroll system control panels and employees records to ensure continued compliance with legal entities and Legacy’s’ policies and practices. Responsible for data analysis and system updating, staff support and collaboration, troubleshooting and system testing, and payroll processing.
Preferred candidates for this role will have strong payroll tax skills including legal entity and nexus knowledge.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, math or business, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Two (2) to four (4) years of progressive payroll experience working with complex payrolls in a network environment required. Supervisory experience preferred.
Skills:
• In depth knowledge of regulatory laws and internal polices and practices that
govern payroll including wage and hour laws.
• Experience with relational databases and a thorough understanding of payroll system functionalities.
• Working knowledge of HR Compensation, Benefits, and other systems that interface with payroll.
• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to problem solve and bring about desired outcomes.
• Excellent organizational skills and an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel.
• Proficiency using computers and other standard office equipment.
