Job Summary
The primary responsibilities of this Payroll Analyst II position are to update, review and audit PeopleSoft payroll transactions for the system and help ensure compliance and adherence to KCTCS Policies and Procedures and regulatory standards for time and absence, tax withholdings, benefit operations, and payroll processes. This position will work cooperatively with a team to support gross-to-net calculations, general deductions, benefit vendor payments, time and labor administration, tax administration, and will support the payroll organization with other general administrative duties as assigned. This position will support PeopleSoft testing, implementations, and upgrades as needed and support other functional areas of payroll and benefit operations as needed.
Positions with the KCTCS System Office located in Versailles, KY are term-contract positions,
with the expectancy of continuance based on performance.
KCTCS offers a hybrid work schedule with a requirement to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per work week. Hybrid work schedules are subject to periodic review and may be modified or terminated at any time.
Job Duties:
Data entry, review, update, and audit of transactions in the Human Capital Management System (Payroll and HR ERP) to ensure completeness and accuracy of payroll and benefit records.
Provides customer support to employees throughout the system by answering questions, directing employees to appropriate resources, and providing technical assistance where necessary.
Provides Payroll Shared Services and Benefit Operations organization with administrative support.
Provides support for PeopleSoft upgrades and implementations through testing system inputs and outputs.
Issues benefit vendor payments.
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree and four (4) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
