Required Related Experience

Required License/Registration/Certification

Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician by either PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT); Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements

May include standing for greater than 5 hours at a time and possibly walking several miles per day. May require the ability to reach items above shoulder level and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Shift

Primarily dayshift, Monday through Friday 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Hours and days of the week are subject to change based on the needs and growth of the department. Holidays are not currently a requirement, but always subject to change.

Job Summary

This position serves as a key operational and patient support leader within Infusion Services. This role supports daily administrative operations, staff training and scheduling, and workflow coordination while serving as a subject matter expert for prior authorizations, benefits investigations, financial assistance programs, and denial management. Collaborates closely with pharmacists, providers, nursing staff, revenue management, payers, and infusion centers to ensure timely access to infusion therapies and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include leading technician workflows, maintaining compliance with specialty pharmacy accreditation standards, supporting authorization procedures and insurance audits, coordinating patient financial assistance resources, and providing high-level customer service and communication across the continuum of care.

Associate or bachelor’s degree and hospital and/or retail pharmacy technician experience preferred.
