Job Summary
The University of Kentucky Office of Philanthropy (PAE) is seeking a highly qualified candidate to: (1) manage and assist with Trust and Estate administration and charitable life insurance matters, and (2) support the PAE Gift & Estate Planning (GEP) team’s planned giving related data, dashboards, gift illustrations and impact modeling. The successful candidate in this position will collaborate with various units of the university’s central financial services team, PAE gift’s receiving and college / unit business and philanthropy officers to administer trust and estate proceeds, and determine and implement the proper use of the gift proceeds. In order to close gifts from trusts, estates, retirement plans and life insurance policies, the successful candidate will work with executors, personal representatives, trustees, attorneys, fund administrators and investment advisors to complete the transfer of various financial assets to the university.
This position will provide vital assistance in data administration for GEP, as well as with gift illustrating and impact modeling that ultimately aids in the solicitation, implementation, deployment and stewardship of gift funds. The successful candidate will manage and administer the charitable life insurance pool, reviewing annual statements, working with insurance agents, and preparing donor communications as well as managing communication of premium notices to donors.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Technical experience with Microsoft Office, Excel and data entry. Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively and persuasively.
