Job Summary

Employee needed for lab processing and phlebotomy with the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging. This employee will assist in drawing blood, processing, recording and transporting biosamples. Duties will also include administrative tasks, data entry and ordering supplies. Employee will assist in keeping exam rooms and equipment clean, packaging and shipping biosamples, assisting clinical staff by performing vitals, etc. and will work within the hospital Epic system to print labels for lab samples. Will work closely with other medical team members. Successful candidates should be able to clearly communicate with team members and be able to find solutions to challenges as they arise. Employee will assist with clinic outreach functions including a yearly health fair and occasional travel to Louisville.



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Phlebotomy preferred – Attention to detail is critical.
