As our PhotographyIntern, you'll spend the 2025-2026 NBA Season supporting our brand strategy teams by planning, shooting, and delivering high-quality photography to be shared with our fans across a variety of platforms.

About the Internship:

  • Internship Duration: August 26,2025 to April 24, 2026, with the potential for an extension.
  • Part-time Commitment: Expect to work an average of 28 hours per week.
  • Location: Portland, Oregon; this is an on-site role, not remote.
  • Industry: Dive into the dynamic world of Sports & Entertainment, gaining exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into what it truly means to be part of the team behind the team.

As our Photography Intern, you will:

  • Plan and complete lifestyle photography photo shoots.
  • Assist with all ecommerce studio product photography for Rip City Clothing Company.
  • Garment Prep and coordinate for photo shoots.
  • Work with ecommerce, Paid Media and Brand teams to deliver finalized assets and ensure smooth product launches.
  • Assist in handling asset uploads and metadata tagging using Photo Mechanic software.
  • Maintain organized photo studio.
  • Document Trail Blazers game nights for a variety of departments including partnership, game operations, retail and social media.
  • Photograph a variety of arena events including concerts.
  • Support Trail Blazers Staff Photographer with other initiatives and shoots as needed.

  • Have excellent still-photography skills and knowledge.
  • Have strong Adobe CS (Lightroom, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
  • Are an effective communicator and relationship builder.
  • Are deadline-focused with an ability to prioritize campaign needs.
  • Understand editorial-style photography and narratives.
  • Have experience coordinating end-to-end asset creation processes.
  • Have good time management and organizational skills.
  • Are able and willing to travel and work in different environments and weather conditions.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work optimally as a team with people of a diverse set of backgrounds and abilities.
  • Can follow verbal and written directions, understand and communicate in conversational English, and understand professional communication.
  • Maintain a highlevel of confidentiality and exercise discretion when working with sensitive or proprietary information.
  • Are available to work a flexible schedule, which could include office hours, Trail Blazers home games, and evening/weekend responsibilities.
