DescriptionThe Physician provides comprehensive, patient-centered medical care within a physician-owned outpatient clinic setting. This role emphasizes continuity of care, strong patient relationships, and efficient, high-quality service delivery in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The Physician is responsible for diagnosing and treating a broad range of conditions, promoting preventive care, and contributing to the operational success and patient experience of the practice. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with physician leadership in a setting that values autonomy, clinical excellence, and personalized care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in accordance with accepted medical standards
- Obtain and review patient medical histories and perform physical examinations
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, imaging)
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses to treatment
- Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling to patients and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies
