As a Platform Engineer I - ITSM, you'll support availability, reliability, and operational excellence across cloud and on-prem environments-learning from experienced engineers while making a real impact from day one.

This is a hybrid position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office at least three days a week. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX.

What You'll Do
  • Support configuration, administration, and day-to-day operations of ITSM platforms (management, integration, core modules, add-ons, cloud/infrastructure).
  • Monitor health, performance, and capacity; triage alerts and escalate appropriately.
  • Execute ITSM workflows with precision: incident response, change management, service health reporting, and operational support processes.
  • Perform routine maintenance (patching, updates, log review, validation checks).
  • Assist with access requests, role provisioning, and security configuration aligned to governance controls.
  • Maintain documentation (runbooks, KB articles, troubleshooting guides) and contribute to continuous improvement/automation.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with platform administration/system operations, cloud/infrastructure concepts, and troubleshooting fundamentals.
  • Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to follow documented procedures and escalate effectively.
    Preferred: experience with Atlassian/Jira Suite (JSM/JSW/DEV-SEC-OPS); exposure to Azure/AWS; scripting (PowerShell/Python/Bash); CI/CD, automation, containers; ticketing systems & operational support workflows.
  • This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
