RMC is hiring an Policy & Operations Analyst to support our Department of Navy customer located at NSWC Indian Head Command. The selected applicant will:
- Track all Department actions, ensuring that due dates are met and that the appropriate Points of Contact (POCs) are assigned and aware of their responsibilities
- Serve as the central POC for all inquiries related to department actions
- Facilitate communication between the Department Head, Deputy, 02T, Policy Branch Manager, and other department personnel
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear and consistent communication on all department actions and policies
- Coordinate and schedule department meetings
- Support the management of the Contracts Department's records, including all contract and purchase files and correspondence
- Oversee the operations and organization of the contracts filing room, including all applicable archiving, shredding, and disposal of documents
- Prepare correspondence and manage the department's business correspondence
- Maintain the inventory of department supplies and create requisitions for procurement as needed
- Perform daily maintenance of the Contracts Department SharePoint site, including updating the organization chart and phone listing
- Participate in the development and collection of data for departmental data calls, metrics analysis, and quality assurance
- Provide analytical support for the development of acquisition documents and dashboards
- Support the department's assessment reviews by ensuring all submissions are of high quality and adhere to the standard format
- Assist in the preparation for the Procurement Surveillance Program (PSP) as directed by NAVSEA
- Assist in data collection efforts for data calls from DoD, DASN, NAVSEA HQs, and other entities
- Asset tracking/inventory support to include coordinating tech refresh efforts
- Assist with Building Facility tickets/custodian duties
- Support human capital/resource planning, including tracking hiring, promotion, and separation actions
- Other administrative duties as required
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Requirements
Associate's degree with four (4) years of relevant experience performing administrative duties or a High School diploma or GED equivalent with six (6) years of relevant experience. This position will require the candidate to perform a variety of analytical and administrative duties, which are auxiliary to the work of the organization. Candidate must be a qualified typist and know principles and practices of office operations. Candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills and must provide customer service both internally and externally. Related experience must include administrative support, such as assisting with report preparation and publication, word processing, general editing, and basic cost data management. Knowledge and operation of office productivity systems are essential. Must have excellent proficiency using the following Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
A minimum of two years of direct experience working with MS Power BI and SharePoint is highly desired. Knowledge of FAR, DFARs, and NMCARS is also desired.
Security Clearance: An active DoD secret clearance is required to start. The applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Support for this position is on-site daily, Monday through Friday, located at NSWC Indian Head, MD.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $84,000 to $91,000 (annually).
