POST CLOSING SPECIALIST
Accurate Group is seeking a Post Closing Specialist to join its growing On-site team in Independence, Ohio. The Post Closing Specialist is responsible for effectively assisting in the document handling, shipping and recording after the real estate signing is completed. This position requires the Post Closing Specialist to follow protocol with steps to manage the process with regards to signing the documents and any items that need to be escalated, to be brought to management’s attention for resolution.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Execute post-closing workflow, document handling and recording.
- Navigate within ResWare, Archer, Outlook and other software systems to move process forward.
- Process emails and phone calls, moving information into the ResWare and Archer Systems, for both order processing and customer service type events.
- Perform package review and sorting per company and client guidelines for errors and omissions that could result in the inability to fund, record, or issue policy.
- Write and speak professionally with lenders, notaries, attorneys, and borrowers.
- Handle confidential information. Keep information secure.
- Exercise critical thinking and problem-solving skills to work efficiently and minimize errors.
- Work independently and as a team player; working in a high volume and fast-paced environment is required. Be self-motivated and goal orients in your approach to the work.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with clients and co-workers.
Successful candidates will have the following proven skills:
- A High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Six months to one-year experience and/or training
- Eligible to be licensed in the title insurance pre-state requirements or currently applying to be licensed, if applicable for your state.
- Notary public or be bondable
- Ideal candidate has a strong customer service background with strong communication skills
- Problems solving skills, ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment is a must.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Experience in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Job Type: Full-time/Remote
Salary: $17.00 to $21.00 an hour
Schedule: Monday -Friday (8-hour shifts)
