The University of Pittsburgh's Department of History of Art and Architecture announces a position for a Post-Doctoral Associate. The position will be fully funded internally. We seek an individual with a background in performance studies and specific research interests in environmental humanities, Caribbean studies, art history, and curatorial research practice. The Candidate should be prepared to teach two courses per year in the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Program. The Candidate also should have a demonstrated track record of scholarly research and an interest in conducting research with the faculty in the Department of History of Art and Architecture.
The person filling this position will complement the current strengths of the Department of History of Art and Architecture and partner with other units. Eligible candidates will have a minimum of a Ph.D. in performance studies by the start of the position in Fall 2026.
