The postdoctoral researcher will be part of a research team working on the development of a prototype of liquid piston for isothermal compression/expansion.

The University is an equal opportunity employer and seeks candidates who understand, respect and can contribute to the University’s mission and values.Duties and Responsibilities:The postdoctoral researcher will be expected to participate in the project’s work, work as a team member, and perform the following major tasks:
- Design of the experimental set up and tests
- Theoretical modeling and simulation of the flow systems
- Data analysis
- Assisting the PI in publications writing and presentations
- Participate in weekly meetings and help to prepare reports and presentations for project sponsor
- A Ph.D. degree in engineering or closely related field
- Good organizational and communication skills
- The ability to work independently and communicate proactively
- Highly motivated with strong written and oral communication skills.
