As our Facility Operations Assistant Manager, you will play a lead role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Practice Facility. You will oversee facility operations, including maintenance, cleaning, vendor coordination, and day-to-day setup, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for players and staff.
DAY-TO-DAY:
- Oversee and support Practice Facility operations, including cleaning, maintenance, and daily preparation for team practices, shootarounds, and other activities.
- Oversee daily gym setup and breakdown, ensuring the facility is prepared and maintained to professional standards.
- Lead all cleaning and sanitization efforts within the facility, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and proper handling and storage of chemicals and supplies.
- Coordinate catering operations, including vendor ingress and egress, and oversee daily preparation of the Players Dining Room for breakfast and lunch service.
- Monitor and restock player pantry and kitchen supplies to ensure food and beverage areas are properly maintained.
- Oversee and promote technical support and maintenance operations across all shifts, addressing both routine and urgent facility needs.
- Troubleshoot and perform light maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
- Coordinate external contractors and vendors for large-scale maintenance, repair, or improvement projects.
- Partner with the Director of Practice Facility Operations on facility integrity and infrastructure concerns, ensuring all areas meet organizational and safety standards.

WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
- Demonstrated experience in facility operations, maintenance, or related technical support functions.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with proven capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.
- Skilled in facility operations, including cleaning standards, maintenance coordination, and equipment setup for athletic environments.
- Working knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry; ability to troubleshoot and perform light maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and oversee the work of external vendors and contractors, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance with safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; able to assess operational challenges and implement effective, timely solutions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining professional presentation standards throughout all facility areas.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and interact professionally with players, coaches, and staff.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while maintaining accountability and alignment with leadership direction.
- Commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and respectful work environment that supports organizational values.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to support team activities and facility operations.
