This role supports the Proximo portfolio and is a direct hire for IXM.
Position Overview
The On Premise Diamond Account Specialist is responsible for driving the growth and visibility of Proximo’s Core, Luxury brand portfolio within assigned key on-premise accounts. Operating as a 1099 contractor through IXM, this role focuses on executing sales strategies, building relationships, and implementing consumer engagement programs, all while managing a specific travel and entertainment budget and achieving established KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
• Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key on premise accounts to maximize brand presence and sales opportunities for Proximo’s core brands.
• Sales & Brand Building: Execute selling strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets, ensuring optimal product placement and visibility within accounts.
• Education & Training: Educate account staff on product knowledge, brand stories, and selling techniques to enhance advocacy and drive sales.
• Consumer Engagement: Implement and oversee consumer pull-through programs and engagement activities that drive trial, awareness, and loyalty for core brands.
• Resource Utilization: Leverage all available tools, marketing materials, and digital platforms to support account initiatives and program execution.
• Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere strictly to state and federal alcohol laws and company policies.
• Reporting & KPI Management: Track performance against defined KPIs and provide regular updates, insights, and recommendations for improvement.
• Budget Management: Effectively manage an assigned travel and entertainment budget, ensuring efficient and compliant use of resources for maximum impact.
• Social Media Influencer Engagement: Working with PR to drive Earned Media into accounts through Proximo Spirits Social Media partners.
• Recap Activity: All activities will be managed and recapped through Pinata AI services. This will include all Sales / KPI / Finance management responsibilities.
Qualifications
• Experience in on-premise beverage alcohol sales, preferably with premium or core spirits brands.
• Mixology or Beverage Director background is required
• Strong understanding of the beverage alcohol industry, distribution networks, and compliance landscape.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and work independently as a 1099 contractor.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales and engagement KPIs.
• Familiarity with digital tools, CRM systems, and marketing resources.
• Ability to travel within assigned territory as needed.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Sales growth and volume targets for core brands within assigned accounts
• Number and quality of consumer engagement programs executed
• Account activation and retention rates
• Brand Distribution and Menu printing in accordance with Sub-Channel Prioritization
• Compliance with travel and entertainment budget
• Adherence to all legal and company policy requirements
Employment Details
• Employment Status: 1099 independent contractor under IXM on 1yr contract
• Compensation: Based on achievement of KPIs and program execution
o $70,000 - $78,000 Base Salary Range
o Bonus potential >50% of base salary with a maximum total compensation of $120,000.
• Reports to: IXM Sales Team with overview of responsibilities reporting to Proximo Sr. Regional Director.
