As our Premium Concierge Supervisor - Part-Time, you will serve as the on-site running point for Premium Concierges, ensuring the team is supported from start to finish of each basketball game, concert, and family show. Reporting directly to our Senior Premium Service Manager, you will manage our Premium Concierge staff during all Moda Center events. You will be familiar with event details, be an expert in staff and arena expectations, lead staff briefings prior to each event, be able to confidently assist premium level guests, and be proficient in our Archtics ticketing system + the Trail Blazers app.

Our ideal candidate has a background working in a role focused on customer experience. This person ideally has team leadership experience, having previously demonstrated positive rapport amongst team members and clients. It’s important for this person to be tech-savvy, a proactive communicator, and someone the Premium Concierge team trusts to lead and support them during events. DAY-TO-DAY:

• Arrive at Moda Center 2 hours before doors open for Trail Blazers Games and 1.5 hours before doors open for concerts and family shows
• Conduct pre-event Premium Concierge staff briefing(s) and print off event materials
• Check in with Premium Concierge staff to ensure a timely arrival to their scheduled shift (approx. 10 staff members for Trail Blazers games and 2-4 staff members for concerts and family shows
• Ensure ingress is going smoothly on all premium levels during Blazers games (Courtside, Club, and Suite Levels) and RQ Events (Suite Level), communicate any positive/negative happenings to the Premium Manager on Duty should anything arise
• Actively move between premium levels during Blazers games to check in with Premium Concierge staff and address any needs they may have.
• Ensure the staff is receiving breaks while floating between levels, and converse to understand any themes the Premium Concierge staff may be seeing or hearing during the event for guests
• Actively communicate with other on-site department leads (i.e. Security, Guest Experience, Levy, etc.) when needed
• Be physically present on the suite level at the conclusion of each event to assist with egress and manage the suite desk while Premium Concierges conduct post-event suite checks
• Remain on suite level until approx. 30 minutes post-event to ensure it is properly cleared and any forgotten items are sent to lost and found. Notify Command Center once the level has cleared and ensure Premium Concierge staff clocks out before departing

WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:

• Are at least 18 years of age
• Are available to work all Moda Center events (approx. 175 events/year). These hours include evenings, weekends, and occasionally holidays, with common call times of 3:45PM, 4:30PM, and 5:30PM. Some weekend events may require morning call times (family shows or occasional basketball games). Shifts typically last about 7 hours.
• Can easily operate a computer, smart phone, and work within multiple computer programs and app interfaces
• Demonstrate the capability to work effectively as a team with people of diverse backgrounds and abilities
• Can understand and communicate in conversational English, including following verbal and written direction and possess effective social and oral communication skills
• Are comfortable communicating as a professional representative of an organization
