Responsibilities

Salary Range: Pay commensurate with experience

Shift: Monday-Friday: 7:00am 3:30pm

Position Overview:

As a Press Operator, you'll bepart of our team located in Berea, OH.

Key Responsibilities:

' Set-up and operate hydraulic punchpresses according to process instructions

' Inspects products to verify conformanceto specifications, including first piece inspection ensuring conformance toblueprint

' Inspect dies, equipment and performpreventative and general maintenance on machinery

' Maintain safe operations by adhering tosafety procedures, regulations, and the use of personal protective equipment(PPE)

' Ensure all safety guarding is in placeand properly working

' Complete all safety sign-off sheetsdaily or as needed

' Maintain clean and safe workenvironment

' Complete tasks per interpretedspecifications, blueprints, and job orders to run job orders accurately andmaximize productivity

' Document all required production dataand verify completion of worksheet (completion of work instruction sheet,identification tags and data entry of labor transaction)

Perform other duties that may beassigned

Qualifications

BasicQualifications

' Experience verifying dimensions ofparts, using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, depth gauges,and / or fixed gauges

' Basic computer skills

' Ability to perform basic math ' add,subtract, multiply whole numbers, fractions and decimals

' Strong orientation toward quality,safety and continuous improvement

' Strong attention to detail

' Desire to learn new skills and improvetechnical knowledge

' Ability to read and understandprocedure, routers and instruction

' Flexibility in work assignments

' Demonstrated ability to effectivelyimplement or respond to change

' Must be able to work daily and weeklyovertime as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

' Previous manufacturing experiencepreferred but not required

' Blueprint reading

PhysicalRequirements:

' Must be able to continuously performgrasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking

' Must be able to handle continuousstanding 8-10 hours daily

' Must be able to perform frequentlifting up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 70 lbs. with assistance.
