Prior Auth Specialist/Medical Assistant-PT-Internal Med/Sleep-Provo

Position Summary: We are looking for someone to join our team. Successful candidate must maintain a professional image in the office and in all communications. Must be able to multi-task while maintaining good patient and staff relations and providing outstanding customer service. Must be a team player, willing to help wherever is needed in office.

Essential Job Functions: Prior authorizations on medications. Rooming patients taking vital signs: (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, weight) Electronic medical record/computer skills: (access and record in patient charts, schedule, complete assigned tasks) Rx refills/authorizations Test ordering, authorizing, and recording. Giving injections

Qualifications: Spanish speaking preferred but not required. Must be able to work Fridays full day. Must be a self-starter, a team player, dependable, friendly and professional. Be able to multi-task and work efficiently while remaining calm and productive. Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.

Hours: Fridays full day 7:30-5:30pm and 2-3 half days per week. hours to be determined

Additional Notes: his is a part time position working a full day on Fridays 7:30-5:30pm and then 2-3 half days during the week No weekends
