The Process Lead serves as the lead business analyst for a large-scale Microsoft-based modernization initiative. This role is responsible for leading requirements discovery, business process analysis, stakeholder engagement, and solution definition activities across the program. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, the Process Lead will analyze current and future-state processes, identify business needs, facilitate requirements workshops, and help translate complex operational challenges into actionable solution requirements.

The Process Lead establishes the standards, frameworks, and best practices used by analysts across multiple workstreams. They provide guidance and oversight for requirements management, user story development, acceptance criteria definition, process modeling, backlog refinement, and stakeholder engagement activities to ensure a consistent and high-quality approach across the program. They work closely with Project Leadership teams to align business priorities with delivery objectives. The role mentors analysts, reviews requirements artifacts, facilitates cross-functional collaboration, and helps ensure business needs are translated into clear, testable, and implementable solutions. They combine strong business analysis expertise, Microsoft knowledge, facilitation skills, and strategic thinking to influence teams and drive successful outcomes in a complex Agile environment.

The projected compensation range for this position is $150,000 to $170,000 (annualized USD). The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal pay equity, location, contract-specific affordability and other organizational requirements.

Required Skills
  • 8+ years of experience in business analysis, process analysis, or requirements management
  • Experience leading requirements discovery and business process analysis efforts
  • Experience establishing standards for user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog management
  • Experience facilitating workshops, interviews, and stakeholder working sessions
  • Experience mentoring or leading business analysts across multiple teams
  • Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365 CE
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments
  • Strong understanding of business process modeling and workflow analysis
  • Experience managing requirements traceability and change management
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable delivery requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required government clearances, if applicable.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Washington, DC during the discovery and planning phase of the project
  • Must be a US Citizen


Desirable Skills
  • Experience supporting enterprise modernization programs
  • Strong hands-on capabilities configuring and building solutions using Microsoft Power Apps/Dataverse
  • Knowledge of data migration and systems integration initiatives
  • CBAP, PMI-PBA, Scrum, SAFe, PMP, or similar certifications
  • Microsoft certifications

Salary range

  • $150,000 - $170,000 per year
