Job Summary
The Procurement to Payment (PtP) Services Analyst - Procurement Analyst, is the point of contact for support to KCTCS colleges and business units. This position is charged with creating and processing solicitations; evaluating and awarding bids; researching contract options; processing orders; record retention; providing expertise and guidance in regard to interpretation of laws, policies, and procedures to staff and faculty; working with Accounts Payable to help manage payments; PeopleSoft testing; and supplier relations. In addition, this role will cross train with other team members with additional duties and may have special projects assigned at times.
Positions with the KCTCS System Office located in Versailles, KY are term-contract positions, with the expectancy of continuance based on performance.
KCTCS offers a hybrid work schedule with a requirement to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per work week. Hybrid work schedules are subject to periodic review and may be modified or terminated at any time.
Job Duties:
*Issues and facilitates solicitations/awards for procurement on behalf of colleges and Fire Commission.
*Researches contract options.
*Processes orders.
*Supplier relations.
*Provides support (email/phone) to KCTCS colleges and business units (internal relations).
*Researches and provides expertise and guidance in regard to interpretation of laws, policies, and procedures to staff and faculty.
*Assists in review and revision of procurement policies and procedures as needed.
*PeopleSoft testing as needed.
*Cross train with other team members with additional duties.
*Working with Accounts Payable to help manage payments.
*Record retention/audit records.
*Special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Business and four (4) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business and four (4) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Additional Skills Requested:
This is an entry level position for our department. While experience and certifications is greatly appreciated; we are prepared to train talent from the ground up, if necessary. Skill set is the most important object requirement. Some level of college would be ideal to show capability as this role has multiple facets of complexity involved.
