We're seeking a Procurement Purchasing Coordinator to support our Procurement team by partnering closely with Category Managers and Department Directors. Supporting our purpose, Grow Every Day, you'll focus on building relationships and communicating effectively while coordinating ad and promotional activities, partnering with vendors on inventory planning, and providing key operational support through pricing and sales data analysis alongside business partners.

About the Role
Ad & Promotional Management
- Develop strong working partnerships with Category Managers and Department Directors on merchandising purchases and strategies
- Prepare weekly ad plans and maintain schedules
- Responsible for administering all promotional and ad information meeting established deadlines
- Assist with proofing the weekly ad, accurately verify work art, size, and product descriptions
- Support, embrace, and drive continuous improvement for store merchandising
Vendor & Operational Support
- Partner closely with vendors on inventory management, daily and promotional projections, logistics, and product/vendor issues
- Responsible for placing orders for in-store signage
- Maintain the flip file binder that contains weekly ad information, pricing changes, and store merchandising reference sheets
Pricing & Contract Execution
- Review and analyze data on an ongoing basis to maximize sales and profit
- Work closely with Finance to ensure accurate pricing and prepare contract for weekly billing
- Manage key deadlines for ordering, forecasting, and pricing
- Coordinate store sign requests and pricing updates
About you

- 3-5 years of experience in procurement coordination, purchasing support, merchandising operations, category support, or supply chain administration
- Experience in retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), grocery, wholesale, or distribution highly preferred
- Proven experience working with vendors, brokers, or supplier partners
- Experience working in fast-paced environments requiring deadline management, scheduling, or coordinating multiple stakeholders
- Experience using ERP or merchandising systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor, or retail-specific systems) preferred
- Familiarity with pricing workflows, purchase orders, or promotional execution
- Able to handle multiple priorities, possess a sense of urgency and strong decision-making skills
- Must be a team player with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical and administrative skills, and excellent follow through
