
Product Demo Specialist, III (Must have a Utility background to qualify)
Overview of Role/Job Purpose:
The Utility Solutions - Product Demo Specialist III leads high-value, strategic demo initiatives, developing advanced demo environments and narratives that directly influence buying decisions for our utility customers and prospects. This role partners with executives, senior sales leadership, and bids teams as a trusted internal consultant, ensuring demo experiences are tightly integrated into the broader utility customer journey. The Specialist III also mentors junior demo specialists and contributes to innovation in demo delivery.
Essential Job Duties:
· Lead and deliver high-impact utility systems (billing, customer engagement) demos for strategic and enterprise electric/gas/water utility opportunities.
· Design and maintain advanced demo environments, simulations, and industry-specific configurations.
· Collaborate with executives, sales leaders, and bids teams to shape pursuit narratives and ensure seamless handoffs.
· Develop demo playbooks, templates, and best practices for the team.
· Mentor junior and mid-level demo specialists in storytelling, billing system attributes, and technical readiness.
· Analyze performance metrics and feedback to refine demo strategies.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in product demonstrations, pre-sales, training or sales enablement within the Billing/Customer Information Systems (CIS) and customer engagement utility space.
· Expertise in demonstration storytelling (simplify complexity), technical configuration, and client engagement.
· Strong leadership presence and mentoring capabilities.
· Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles and strategic pursuits.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Understanding of storytelling and value-selling, tailoring messages to executive and operational audiences.
· Deep understanding of SaaS value propositions and a consultative, solution-focused mindset.
