Position Summary:

The Product Manager, Marketing Technology is responsible for owning the strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the marketing technology ecosystem that enables customer experience, lifecycle engagement, and personalization at scale. This role ensures the organization has the right platforms, integrations, and capabilities in place to deliver on the customer experience and product strategies defined by the Digital Transformation and Customer Journey teams.

Reporting to the Director, Digital Transformation, this role partners closely with Product Strategists, Technology, Data, Marketing, and external partners to translate experience strategy into scalable, reliable, and well-governed MarTech capabilities. This is a lead Product Manager role with accountability for platform direction, prioritization, and value realization, operating in an advanced but fragmented MarTech environment undergoing transformation.

Responsibilities:

1. Own the product vision, architecture, and roadmap for the marketing technology ecosystem, ensuring platforms and integrations support current and future customer experience strategy.

2. Translate product strategy and lifecycle priorities into required MarTech capabilities, identifying gaps, dependencies, and sequencing needs across the stack.

3. Lead prioritization of MarTech initiatives by balancing strategic intent, platform constraints, technical debt, and delivery capacity.

4. Partner with Technology and Data teams to define scalable, secure, and compliant platform architecture, integration patterns, and data flows.

5. Guide evaluation and selection of MarTech vendors and platforms as needed, including requirements definition, tradeoff analysis, and roadmap alignment.

6. Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and fitness-for-purpose as adoption grows in support of the digital transformation roadmap.

7. Establish governance, standards, and guardrails for MarTech usage to enable speed and consistency while managing risk and complexity.

8. Define and track success metrics such as adoption, capability utilization, data readiness, and enablement of priority use cases.

9. Communicate MarTech direction, constraints, and progress clearly to Product Strategists, Marketing, Technology, and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications:

1. 8+ years of experience in product management, marketing technology, digital platforms, or related roles within complex enterprise environments.

2. Demonstrated experience owning MarTech platforms and ecosystems, including CRM, CDP, marketing automation, personalization, analytics, or related capabilities.

3. Proven ability to define platform roadmaps and architectures that enable strategic use cases rather than optimizing individual tools in isolation.

4. Experience partnering closely with Technology and Data teams on architecture, integration, privacy, and scalability considerations.

5. Strong judgment in prioritizing platform investments and managing tradeoffs between strategic ambition and technical reality.

6. Experience working with vendors and external partners, including platform evaluation, roadmap alignment, and ongoing relationship management.

7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical constraints and opportunities to non-technical stakeholders.

8. Solid business acumen, with an understanding of how MarTech capabilities enable customer experience, efficiency, and growth.
