Position Purpose
As a key member of the cross-functional Manufacturing Team, the Production Control Manager will lead all aspects of materials planning and scheduling. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, fostering team development, and ensuring alignment with JCB’s strategic goals. The successful candidate will set high standards, lead by example, and champion continuous improvement across the function. This role is onsite in Pooler, Georgia.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
- Ensure full compliance with JCB’s Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
- Lead the daily operations of the materials planning and scheduling team, integrating customer demand, material requirements, and capacity planning.
- Develop and implement best-in-class strategies, policies, and processes to enhance operational performance and support sales and profitability targets.
- Maintain accurate and timely updates in SAP; oversee Master Production Schedules (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
- Build and manage capacity models and manufacturing plans to support current and future business growth.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure robust supply chain controls for inbound global materials.
- Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure continuity and performance.
- Establish and monitor KPIs; produce regular performance reports and improvement plans.
- Apply Problem Cause Mapping (PCM) methodologies to resolve operational issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN and Kaizen methodologies.
- Ensure inventory levels are optimized, and stock turn targets are achieved.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and goal achievement.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in planning/scheduling within a complex manufacturing environment.
- At least 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and cross-functional team collaboration.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Comfortable in an in-person office environment
- Technical competence is a plus
- Must be customer service oriented, flexible, and have a high energy level
- Must have excellent follow-through skills
- Must have a professional, polished, and sophisticated demeanor and be comfortable in most social settings
- Must be open to domestic and international travel
- Desire and proven ability to learn and grow
