
Production Control Manager
Responsibilities
Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for a Production Control Manager who is responsible for control and movement of materials into and out of production, as well as coordination of the Outside Services aspect of the facility, and directing production scheduling, inventory, and stock control while adhering to the budgetary targets for Sales, DOH, and On-Time Delivery. This position is on-site located in Kingston, NY.

Job duties and Responsibilities:
- Partners with Production Planners and Customer Service to develop plant schedules and delivery;
- Responsible for the development of weekly/monthly sales plans to meet budgetary requirements;
- Provides direction and oversight to Planners who prepare the weekly launch plan for production;
- Monitors raw material inventory and procurement/delivery performance;
- Responsible for analysis and evaluation of inventory and associated delivery performance problems;
- Interface with operations, production planning, engineering, quality and sales departments to resolve production flow problems in order to maximize throughput to the dock;
- Responsible for commit accuracy and collaborates toward on-time delivery;
- Creates seamless customer experience through collaboration with customer service;
- Works toward reduction of costs within related fields such as inventory, outside services;
- Evaluate issues and provide solutions under high-pressure circumstances;
- Responsible for ongoing coaching and development of staff;
- Maintains high ethics and values in the workplace;
Participate in and provide input to assigned process improvement and C.I. teams;
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in manufacturing job shop environment, including production planning and inventory control responsibilities
- Experience with integrated MRP/ERP systems
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;
Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and database management skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively interface with all levels of staff
Familiarity with ISO standards, 5S and Lean experience.

- The annual salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000.
