Lay-up the treated core paper according to the directions given by the Head Layup-Corestock. Performs other tasks as required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Count the proper amount of Core Papers/Core Stock for the production run. Lay-up the material necessary for the run. Inspect the run for visual defects. Document the proper information on the run. Prepare the station for the new run. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Work as Head Lay-Up Person in his/her absence.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Ability to understand Ability to follow directions. Skill in hand-and-eye coordination. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent knowledge. Plus one year of work history. WORKING CONDITIONS PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Medium work Tasks involve pushing/pulling, lifting and standing or using force equal to handling materials of 20 to 50 pounds.ENVIRONMENT: Located in an environment with regular exposure to fumes or odors, temperature extremes, or loud noises which cause noticeable discomfort or moderate risk of accident or illness. Examples: engineering, waste mgt, laundry workers and yards/grounds staff
