Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Lead to join our team. The Production Lead will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring that production targets are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong attention to detail, and a proven track record of success in a production environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the production process and ensure that production targets are met
- Develop and implement production schedules to optimize productivity
- Monitor production equipment and ensure that it is in good working order
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that the work environment is safe for all employees
- Train and supervise production staff to ensure that they are performing their duties effectively
- Identify areas for improvement in the production process and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports as required
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that production goals are aligned with overall company objectives

Education Requirements/Work Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a production environment
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office -- MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; proficiency in use of ERP/MRP systems and workflow; proficiency in CRM systems and workflow.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and push/pull up to 50 lbs. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers; talk and hear. Occasionally required to reach, stoop, bend, squat, stretch, and twist. The employee is routinely required to reach with hands and arms.?Must be able to work with hand and power tools. Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hearing protection, safety glasses and steel/composite toe shoes, and gloves. Hearing protection and PPE is based on job assignments, tasks, or work areas. Must Apply critical thinking to perform problem solving for complex tasks, including recognizing hazards and mitigating risk. Must have the ability to provide clear direction for tasks. Must be able to openly communicate and provide feedback and direction to associates.
Work Environment

The work environment is typical of most manufacturing environments with proximity to other production associates, materials, and machinery. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high level with ear protection required. Moderate exposure to heat, cold, and noise. Heat and cold exposure is dependent on external weather temperatures. Work areas may occasionally have wet or damp conditions.
