Compensation

The base hourly rate for this position is $23.02.

At the Johns Manville Hazleton facility, we manufacture insulation for roofs. It's a neat process, but what is even cooler is how we do it...

The Manufacturing Production Machine Operators would join the team in one of the five production positions as part of our Pay-For-Skills program. This program builds on the Entry Level Production Operator with pay increasing after each of the five jobs is learned which means ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT. The facility is one of the top performers in the division supplying material all over the United States which translates to JOB SECURITY. Being part of the Berkshire Hathaway Family means GREAT BENEFITS. The Johns Manville Hazelton facility manufactures polyisocyanurate foam insulation panels for use in commercial roofing systems. These panels come in a variety of thicknesses and also include specialty products such as tapered, vented nailboard, and crickets. The Hazleton facility is also a distribution center for virtually all commercial roofing materials with the capability of delivering a complete roofing system to a jobsite.

With the completion of ourPay-For-Skillsprogram, you have the potential to make up to$28.77/hr.

The facility currently operates on 2 shifts. This configuration consists of rotating 12-hour days.

Your Day to Day:

  • Learn the manufacturing process
  • Learn and understand finished product specifications
  • Complete preventative maintenance checks as required
  • Operate manufacturing equipment
  • All employees are expected to follow Johns Manville safety policy and procedures. Additional responsibilities or tasks may be assigned at the discretion of the production supervisor.
  • Support and promote safe practices and environmental commitments in alignment with company commitments, policies, and compliance requirements.
