Physical Requirements
This position requires occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds and loading and/or unloading supplies and materials onto carts. Sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and repetitive motion tasks.
Shift
Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; some weekends and evening activities may be required as needed.
Job Summary
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Unit is seeking a Nutrition Education Program Assistant. This position is responsible for delivering direct, evidence-based nutrition and food preparation education to EFNEP audiences, collecting and reporting evaluation data, and actively recruiting and enrolling program participants. The successful candidate will also build and maintain community partnerships and contribute to ongoing program improvement through professional development. This position is housed at the Menifee County Extension Office and supported on soft funds.
