Reports To: Clinical Director
Supervises: CSS Unit Staff
Training: CPI and BLS required within 90 days of hire or transfer, Annual, six (6) hours in discipline

Position Summary:
The Program Manager is responsible for the operation of distinct programs within established units. The Program Manager assumes responsibility for the coordinating and integrating of services within the program and for realizing the goals of the program. The Program Manager provides leadership and direction within regulatory requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintains communication with the CSS Director around team functioning and service delivery
* Makes recommendations to the unit's Director regarding resources and programming in order to realize the program's goals
* Supervises all program staff administratively, performs performance evaluations and makes recommendations to the Unit Director regarding training
* Assures that contracted/budgeted levels of service are achieved
* Manages the program's budget
* Assumes direct care responsibilities as directed by the Unit Director
* Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate to any age/disability group assigned
* Proficient in the knowledge and skills described in the core competency curriculum for each assigned age/disability group.
* Creates a climate that supports the dynamic interaction and participatory process of the team
* Ensures equal distribution of team responsibilities
* Keeps the team focused to complete daily and team issues meetings efficiently and effectively
* Contributing to the development, implementation, monitoring, and updating of the individualized rehabilitation plan pursuant to NJAC 10:37B-2.4
* Performing therapeutic rehabilitative skill development pursuant to NJAC 10:37B-4.2
* Offering services appropriate to meet the consumer's needs pursuant to NJAC 10:37B-4.6
* Performing crisis intervention pursuant to NJAC 10:37B-4.4(a)24
* Completes all documentation within established time frames
* Documentation must be completed within one (1) calendar day of service delivery
* Will also serve in the capacity of one of the various disciplines on the team (RN, Peer Advocate, Co-Occurring Specialist, or Vocational Specialist)
Minimal Qualifications:
* Education: Master's Degree in behavioral health related field. NJ LSW/LCSW or LAC/LPC is required for position at time of hire. Valid NJ Driver's License required.
Experience: Two (2) years in behavioral health setting.
Experience providing services to individuals involved in supportive housing
Training:
Preferred Qualifications:
Supervisory Experience
Additional years experience in behavioral health setting.
Equipment Use: Computer, copier, facsimile
