What You Will Do
- This position will serve on a team of individuals which will develop and implement graduate and international recruitment and admission strategies.
- This includes the development of long term market cultivation strategies and recruitment relationships, as well as the day to day implementation of direct recruitment and yield strategies and overall integrated marketing efforts.
- The position will support the graduate school and graduate academic departments in the development and ongoing implementation of customized recruitment programs, including initiatives that support the recruitment of diverse student populations.
- This will involve developing relationships with domestic feeder institutions, including specific engagement with historically black colleges and universities and minority serving institutions, by visiting these campuses for education fairs, recruitment related events, and establishing partnerships that create pathways for their students to graduate programs at SIUE.
- In addition, the position will work collaboratively with International Student Services and the Director of Graduate and International Recruitment on international recruitment efforts and activities supporting prospective and new international students.
- This position will be required to travel in support of the graduate and international recruitment plan.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
-Bachelor's Degree
AND
-2+ years experience in any combination of the following areas of higher education-student services, student orientation or onboarding, academic advising, student recruitment, international education and/or English language training
-Masters Degree in any field (can be counted for up to 1 year of experience)
