Job Description
Position Purpose:
Veolia North America, LLC seeks a Project Manager in New York, NY to be responsible for leading one or more work streams of transformation programs, adopting Agile methodology and DevOps principles. The position will be accountable for establishing the project charter, plan, key deliverables and delivering it on time, within budget per expected quality standards. Understand business requirements, establish the project charter with key deliverables, create and manage project plan and govern it to complete the project on time, budget and per expected quality.

Pay Range: $155542 to $165000 per year.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and assess demand to execute strategic plans.
- Perform quality control on the project through the development lifecycle to maintain expected standards.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure stakeholder satisfaction and evaluation of project performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team to deliver the project.
- Schedule and lead daily scrum calls and weekly status calls.
- Publish weekly status report highlighting key accomplishments. Identify potential risks proactively and propose mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with OCM lead for timely communications to all stakeholders and drive adoption of the solution.
- Track and report committed Business Value Delivery.
- Assist with development and delivery of training materials to upskill employees on new technologies and processes.
- Produce communication materials as needed to educate people.
- Communicate with stakeholders and leadership team on the project status.
Work Environment:
- 20-25% travel to MA, NJ or NY to Veolia locations as needed.
- Telecommuting may be permitted.
- When not telecommuting, must report/appear into/at VEOLIA offices in New York, NY.
Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background:
- The position requires an Associate's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Communications, Business, Technology, or related field and 6 years of experience in a related occupation.
- Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Communications, Business, Technology, or related field and 4 years of experience in a related occupation.
- The position also requires: 1 year experience successfully delivering programs on time and within budget; 2 years of experience with Stakeholder Management; and 2 years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
