- Provides comprehensive case management services to students and their families as assigned by clinical director.
- Provides clinical assessments and diagnostic impressions for students and families in a bio-psychosocial format.
- Develops clinical treatment plans and the implementation of structured treatment approaches.
- Provides cognitive and psychological assessments of students as part of 3-year re-evaluations for special education services and as requested for extended evaluations as part of a 45-day assessment classroom.
- Writes detailed reports specifying results and recommendations for treatment and educational programming.
- Chairs and actively participates in multi-disciplinary team meetings consisting of medical staff, teachers, school specialist and milieu counseling staff.
- Works collaboratively with outside service providers associated with a student's case.
- Provides consultation, risk assessment, and crisis intervention as necessary and requested.
- Engages and provides clinical treatment to high-risk family systems.
- Provides regular, scheduled clinical supervision to graduate student trainees and ensures that all academic standards of the referring graduate program are met.
- Completes all required clinical documentation in our EMR, including intakes, progress and contact notes, treatment plans, and meeting notes.
- Doctorate in Clinical, Counseling or School Psychology.
- Licensed Psychologist and Health Service Provider in good standing in Massachusetts or interest in transferring out-of-state licensure.
- Candidates with their doctorate in School, Clinical or Counseling Psychologist who are in the process of obtaining licensure will also be considered.
- 3 years of experience within a fast-paced environment, and exposure to school, inpatient and residential settings, preferred.
- Experience or familiarity with evidence-based practices (CBT and/or DBT are especially beneficial).
- Experience with cognitive and psychological assessment, and the ability to write comprehensive integrated reports.
- Clinical supervision experience of psychology practicum and doctoral level psychology interns preferred.
- Candidates with their doctorate in School, Clinical or Counseling Psychologist who are in the process of obtaining licensure will also be considered.
