This is a full time, benefit eligible position, that will routinely float to various health department throughout the 10 county district on an as needed basis. There will be regularly scheduled time within select health departments.

Job Responsibilities
Under supervision, provides professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies and/or procedures.
Selected applicant will provide patient care in a Public Health setting, and will float to other counties in our district on an as needed basis.
District 8-1 includes the following counties; Ben Hill, Berrien, Brooks, Cook, Echols, Irwin, Lanier, Lowndes, Tift and Turner.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and completion of a PHN course within one (1) year of hire and current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license and CPR certification.
Additional Qualifications:
Must be a protocoled Public Health nurse.
