This team working on creating products for enhancing marketing targeting and eligibility capabilities that drive American Express marketing campaigns. Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the adoption and implementation of BDD practices in collaboration with developers, product managers, and business analysts.
- Develop and maintain BDD automated test scripts using tools like Cucumber or Behave, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive and robust regression testing suite to ensure the stability of new features and updates.
- Conduct exploratory and manual testing to uncover potential issues and validate system behavior.
- Design, implement, and execute API testing strategies using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and collaborate
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues, collaborating with the development team to prioritize and resolve them.
- Conduct performance testing to ensure the application meets scalability and responsiveness requirements.
- Proactively contribute to the improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools, with a focus on BDD, regression testing, and API testing.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Up to 6+ years of software development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience such as:
- Years of proven experience as a QA Engineer with expertise in BDD, regression testing, API testing, and Sauce Labs integration.
- Proficient in BDD tools and frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Behave).
- Solid experience with automated testing tools for React applications (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
- Familiarity with Sauce Labs or similar cloud-based testing platforms.
- Strong understanding of React components and architecture.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining regression testing suites.
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate to internal and external business partners.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required, advanced degree.
Best to have Qualifications:
- Advanced certifications in BDD or test automation.
- Experience with other testing tools or frameworks.
- Previous exposure to performance testing tools beyond basic familiarity.
- Familiarity with additional security testing tools or methodologies.
- Contribution to open-source testing projects.
- Advanced knowledge of Sauce Labs features and capabilities.
Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
