Work on the 1-million sq. ft. factory is now under way on the 400-acre site. It will be the company’s second largest plant, rivalled only by JCB’s world headquarters in Rocester, Staffordshire, England, and create 1,500 new jobs over five years. The factory will make Loadall telescopic handlers and aerial access equipment, with production scheduled to start in 2026. The factory will also have the capacity to expand and build other products in the future.

Position Purpose
As a Quality - Goods Inward Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of incoming materials and components. Working within a high-reliability environment, you will safeguard product quality and support continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
- Perform detailed inspection of incoming goods and components against technical drawings specifications, JCB Standards and purchase orders.
- Verify compliance within ISO9001 standards, ensuring traceability and documentation accuracy.
- Release conforming materials into stock. Ensure segregation and control of non-conforming materials.
- Identify and document non-conformances.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues and drive corrective actions. Support supplier feedback activities.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and communicate part approval status.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain and quality functions.
- Operate inspection tools and equipment with precision and care.
- Uphold safety, compliance, and quality standards in all inspection activities.
- Support Materials, Assembly and Goods Inward departments as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous experience in a quality inspection role within a Manufacturing and Assembly environment.
- Familiar with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) technical drawing requirements
- Good working knowledge of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) requirements
- Working knowledge of ISO9001 standard and requirements.
- Experience in testing, manufacturing, or laboratory environments.
- Competence in Microsoft Office tools.
- Occasional travel to other sites/ supplier sites may be required.

- Interpreting technical drawings / specifications
