Essential Functions These are the job duties required of the position.Essential Functions- Supervises radiologic technology students in the clinical setting.
- Observes and evaluates the clinical performance of radiologic technology students.
- Ensures students utilize appropriate exposure factors to ensure quality radiographic images demonstrating correct contrast, density/brightness, magnification, and distortion.
- Ensures safe radiographic measures compatible with ALARA are followed.
- Ensures safe patient handling techniques are followed.
- Provides input to student’s clinical grades.
- Serves on the department’s admission committee.
- Travels to various clinics as needed.
- Regular and prompt attendance.
- Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
- Related duties as required.
